As new businesses move in to Battersea Power Station, BASE (Battersea Academy of Skills Excellence) works in partnership with the council’s Work Match team to match local people to job opportunities..

The jobs fair is a chance to meet companies offering jobs in, hospitality & catering plus get free careers advice and find out more about working at Battersea Power Station.

Attendees can also sign up for the BASE Foundation Programme, to help them get the skills that will get them noticed by recruiters.

The council’s business and employment spokesman Cllr Kim Caddy said: “Work Match and BASE provide a direct line for local people to Battersea Power Station jobs and help us ensure Wandsworth residents are first in line for the many opportunities opening up there.

“I would urge local jobseekers to go along and find out how Work Match and BASE can help them.”
