Carers can get help and support too. You might not think of yourself as a carer - you may see yourself as family, as a friend or a neighbour. But if you're helping to look after someone unpaid because they need care and support, then you're a carer.
There are different ways you can be supported as a carer. You might need to take a break and take some time out to look after yourself. You may be able to get some benefits if you are a carer. There are support groups as well, and different ways to meet other carers, in person or online.
