Training and development funding
|Description||Skills for Care provides funding for care-related training and development for people who employ their own care staff ('individual employers'), for both themselves and their personal assistants. |
Applications are now being accepted for funding for 2016-2017. The closing date for applications is 28 February 2017. Qualifications and training must be paid for and started after the 1 April 2016 and before the 31 March 2017.
Skills for Care is a registered charity and the workforce development body for adult social care. It does not directly arrange the training, but can help fund the full cost of courses and qualifications that meet their criteria. Individual employers aged 18 or over can apply for this funding for themselves or their personal assistants. If your application is successful, you will usually find out within 30 days.
