Transport for London (TFL) - The Travel Support Card
|Description||The Travel Support Card is a free card that is issued by Transport for London (TFL) to assist anyone who finds travelling difficult, might not be used to travelling on their own or may have a hidden disability and would require help or support. |
All you have to do is to present the card to a member of the transport staff (they all wear uniform) and they will assist you.
The TFL staff would for example, be able tell you which platform or bus stop to go to for your journey, show the way to the right platform or bus stop, help you plan a new journey if there are delays, make sure you have time to sit down on the bus before it moves off and help you get on or off river boats.
The card can be used on buses, trams, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), the Tube, London Overground, ‘London River Services’ boat services and at Victoria Coach Station.
