|Description||The Furzedown Project offers a meeting place for older people and aims to prevent social isolation amongst older people. A wide range of classes and activities are provided every week including social meetings, arts and crafts, exercise sessions, and two adult education classes. It is open 5 days a week and offers information, advice and support to older people. |
They offer summer trips, days out and other social events throughout the year as well as opportunities to volunteer and help others. The project also provides a home-visiting outreach and befriending service to isolated older people in the Tooting and Furzedown area and a drop-in service that is available Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.
They are unable to offer lunches or meals, or day care services. Further information is available on their website or you can call for a full programme of activities and details of their supported transport service.

There is a small fee for each activity, usually around £1 per session or £2 if using the transport service as well.
