|Description||The Royal British Legion (RBL) provides an advice and information service and a drop-in centre in Wandsworth every month. The service is for anyone who is either serving or has served within the armed forces and their immediate family members, including partners, dependents or carers. The service can help with: |
- Independent living advice
- Debt and benefits advice
- Employability advice
- Independent inquest advice
- War pensions and compensations advice
- Grant giving – for example, for white/brown goods, funeral costs, house adaptations, food vouchers, clothing and respite breaks.
The Legion may also be able to offer other financial support or grants depending on a person’s needs and eligibility.
You don’t need to book an appointment to be seen at the drop-in session. Simply arrive at the Mercy Foundation Centre in Wandsworth between 10.00am – 1.00pm on the third Friday of every month.
