DescriptionAction for Blind People offers free, impartial information, advice and support to blind and partially sighted people, their families, friends and carers. It is a national charity which is now part of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) Group.

They provide a range of support, which covers the following areas and more:

- Support with welfare rights and finances
- Independent living services, including housing services
- Assistive technology
- Employment services and work support
- Counselling and emotional support
- A Low Vision Centre in central London
- A range of other projects
- 'Vision Hotels': four accessible hotels in countryside and coastal locations
