Care to Achieve
|Description||Care to Achieve is a project that supports young adult carers aged 16-25 in the borough of Wandsworth to focus on their own education and employment goals alongside their caring responsibilities. The project includes different workshops on employment and personal skills, group activities, and one to one sessions to help make a personal plan of action for moving forward. |
Care to Achieve has a dedicated project worker, Jenny, who you can contact to find out more. The project is provided by Wandsworth Carers' Centre and funded by Carers Trust, and it runs until November 2015.
A carer is someone who cares unpaid for a family member or friend who needs their help because of a disability, chronic illness, mental illness, or substance misuse.
