Homelessness - help from the council
|Address||Housing Customer Centre, |
Housing and Community Services Department,
90 Putney Bridge Road
|Description||If you are homeless or are worried about losing your home there are different places you may be able to get support from the council, depending on your age and circumstances. You may be worried about losing your home because your landlord has asked you to move out or you are struggling to pay your mortgage, and you have nowhere else to go. |
The type of advice and assistance available will depend on whether you are eligible to be housed in Wandsworth and whether you have a priority need for housing. Whether you are homeless intentionally or unintentionally, and whether you have a local connection with the area, will also be taken into account.
If you are 18 or over, you can contact the housing options and projects team during office hours (9am to 5pm) using the contact details below. If you are under 16, or are 16 or 17 without any dependent children, you should contact Children’s Services (020 8871 6000). Otherwise, contact the housing options and projects team.
