DescriptionThe Trussell Trust is a charity that provides food banks across the UK in partnership with churches and communities. Each food box that they provide includes at least three days of nutritionally balanced, non-perishable food. To access support from a foodbank you need a voucher. These are usually provided by, for example, Job Centre Plus, GPs or other trusted professionals who are in a position to know who is in need of support from a foodbank. There is a foodbank in Wandsworth with four distribution points:

Opening times: Tuesday 12.30 to 2.30pm and Friday 10am to 12noon

- St Paul’s Church

Opening times: Saturday, 9.30am to 11.30am

Opening times: Monday from 12.30am to 2.30pm

The charity also supports community enterprises to deliver projects for people from all backgrounds, for example a supported volunteer programme to offer work-related opportunities for people with mental, social, learning and physical difficulties.
