| Description | This is a care home for 12 men or women with learning disabilities and some with physical disabilities. It has four purpose built flats that each provide accommodation for three people with wheelchair access and en-suite facilities for each room. Each flat also has a communal lounge, large dining room and kitchen and half of the accommodation has overhead electric hoist facilities. Anvil Close also offers a large secluded garden with raised flowerbeds and paved areas. There home has a team of senior support workers and 17 qualified care staff that provide 24 hour support as well as the registered manager. Anvil Close is run by MacIntyre, a national charity that provides learning, support and care for adults and children with learning disabilities at centres across the UK. Within Wandsworth, they provide residential care services at Southview Close in Tooting as well as at Anvil Close.
