Description | South West London Law Centres (SWLLC) provide free legal advice and representation for people in need across Wandsworth, and south west London. Please see below for the contact details of your nearest office. They are staffed by a team of experienced legal professionals and provide services such as: - Evening Advice Clinics: Free legal advice provided by volunteer lawyers. The clinics are intended to provide one-off initial advice and are organised on a first-come, first-served basis. Clinics are available in Battersea, Kingston, Wimbledon, Croydon, and Morden. - Casework Service: A full advice and legal representation service is available for problems regarding money and debt, housing, employment, and all matters to do with asylum and immigration (this could include people with no recourse to public funds). This service is by appointment only and you must meet certain financial criteria to access this service. - Daytime Pro Bono Clinics: Free family advice clinics are available by appointment from the Wandsworth, Croydon and Merton branches, and personal injury advice is available at the Merton branch. Please telephone to discuss your issue and enquire about the most suitable service. All of the services require an appointment, except the Evening Advice Clinics which operate as a drop-in on a first-come, first-served basis. |

Eligibility | Most services have no eligibility criteria and are available to everyone. However, for Casework Services clients need to be eligible for Legal Aid, i.e. certain financial and other criteria must be met. |
