DescriptionFreedom Passes for disabled people provide free travel at any time on London's buses, tube, trams and Docklands Light Railway, as well as free off-peak travel on National Rail services within the freedom pass area. They are issued free of charge to blind and disabled people who meet the eligibility criteria and are permanent residents of Wandsworth.

EligibilityThe main categories of disability in the Transport Act 2000 which make you eligible for a Freedom Pass are:

1) People who are blind or partially sighted

2) People who are profoundly or severely deaf

3) People without speech

4) People who have a disability, or have an injury, which has left them with a substantial and long-term adverse effect on their ability to walk

5) People who do not have arms or have a long-term loss of the use of both arms

6) Some people with a learning disability

7) People who would have their application for a driving licence refused due to 'physical fitness', except for in the case of persistent misuse of drugs or alcohol.
