|Description||The Sunflower Café is a monthly gathering where people with dementia, their carers and friends can access information and support, share experiences, take part in mood-lifting activities such as sing-alongs, or simply enjoy a cup of tea and a chat with others in a similar situation. Light refreshments are provided. The café is run by Alzheimer's Society South West London Branch, and information and advice about all aspects of living well with dementia is available. |
There are opportunities to take part in various activities, such as crafts, exercise sessions and music sessions. People can contact the service directly, or may be referred through other Alzheimer's Society services. Please contact the café coordinator before you first visit the café.
The Café is run by the Alzheimer's Society in partnership with Age UK Wandsworth, Wandsworth Carers' Centre and the Furzedown Project. A minibus service is available for those with no other means of accessing the café.
