|Description||Podiatry services are provided across Wandsworth by health professionals to help prevent, diagnose, and treat problems with the feet and lower limbs. The Podiatry Service is based at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton, part of St George's Healthcare Trust. It also offers community clinics across Wandsworth as well as home visits for patients who are housebound. The Podiatry Service also offers: |

The service only accepts referrals from GPs or other health care professionals. Podiatrists and podiatry are sometimes also called chiropodists and chiropody. Please note: a nail cutting service is not provided.

|Eligibility||You must be registered with a GP in the Wandsworth area. |
Eligibility is based on podiatric need, i.e. a problem that cannot be treated by the individual. This need will be assessed on an individual basis. It is not based on age or specific to certain medical conditions, such as diabetes.
Nail care is only provided to patients who have vascular or neurological complications, are receiving anti-coagulant therapy or have a disability that prevents them caring for their own feet. If you are not eligible for the service they make suggestions to help with your problem, including nail care advice.
