DescriptionDentists specialise in the prevention and treatment of tooth-related and mouth-related conditions. A regular trip to the dentist can help check you have no tooth, gum or mouth problems. A dentist visit can help with early detection and treatment of any problems such as tooth decay or gum disease.

To arrange an appointment with a dentist you can simply contact a practice that is convenient for you and ask for an appointment. There is no need to register with a dentist, although in some areas there may be waiting lists for NHS treatment.
