Hope House Treatment Centre

AddressHope House Treatment Centre
52 Rectory Grove,
London
PostcodeSW4 0EB
DescriptionHope House treatment centre is run by a charity called Action on Addiction and is for women only. This is a safe, secure and comfortable place to recover from drug or alcohol dependency and receive additional support for other compulsive disorders.

Many of their clients have a history of difficult relationships and find an all-female environment a supportive place to work through issues and begin the process of recovery. Living with other women in similar situations enables them to benefit from the care of the counsellors and therapists and encouragement of their peers.

The Hope House treatment programme lasts from 12 to 24 weeks and their services include:

• Pre-treatment assessment - for all new clients to see the house and meet the staff along with the other women living there.
• The treatment programme - they provide a professional and well-planned therapeutic programme based on a 12-step abstinence model.
• Art therapy
• Reflexology
• Gym visits
• Facilitated family meetings – rebuilding close relationships with their family.
• Aftercare - following the residential treatment programme, they provide 12 weeks of structured aftercare, supporting them with their recovery back in the community.
