DescriptionIt's important to know the air quality and pollution levels if you have a health problem that is affected by poor quality air. When pollution levels are high, it's better to keep any activity outdoors to a minimum. There are a few ways you can find out more.

You can listen to a daily summary of air quality in Wandsworth by calling our air quality line or you can view the measurements on a map on the London Air Quality Network's Wandsworth Bulletins. To find out more, visit the council's air quality webpages or the Love Clean Air website, which was set up by pollution experts from six south London councils including Wandsworth.

You can also sign up to AirTEXT for free air pollution alerts. AirTEXT alerts can help you to be aware of and reduce the effects of pollution on you or someone you care for. You can register for free alerts to your home phone, mobile or by email for warnings of local air pollution levels.
