Contact the Elderly

AddressContact the Elderly National Office
2 Grosvenor Gardens

PostcodeSW1W 0DH
DescriptionContact the Elderly is a charity that is dedicated to tackling loneliness and social isolation among older people.

They achieve this through regular face to face contact by organising monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties for small groups of older people aged 75 and above, who live alone and may have little or no contact with family or friends.

These tea parties bring people of all ages together, develop fulfilling friendships and support networks.

Each older person is collected from their home by a volunteer driver and taken to volunteer host’s home for the afternoon where they join a small group. The hosts are different each month but the drivers remain the same.
