Grants and other financial help
If you need extra financial help, some places offer grants, special loans and other support. The government offers budgeting loans and crisis loans to people in need, and payments to help with heating bills in cold weather. You can get grants for many different things, from education support to helping you stay mobile and independent. There are grants for special equipment. There are grants for furniture in an emergency. There are even grants to help if you're in debt because of heating or energy bills.
