Staying safe at home

Home should be a safe environment. There will always be risks, but you can reduce these risks by taking steps to make sure your home is a safe place to live. Fire safety is important. So is home security. You can get free checks, advice and equipment to help with these things from the London Fire Brigade and Wandsworth Council's Community Safety Trust. Services like Telecare and the community alarm service, WATCH, are linked to emergency response officers to help people stay safe at home.
