Repairs, decorating and adaptations

Repairs, decorating and adaptations

If you need some minor repairs or decorating doing, you might be able to get help. Some 'handyperson' services put up handrails, do some basic decorating and more. Some community groups can also offer help. If you're looking for major changes to your home, these are often called adaptations. If you're eligible, you might be able to get a Disabled Facilities Grant or get help from the council's Occupational Therapy Service.
