Advice and information

Advice and information

You can get advice about care from many organisations. Charities such as Age UK Wandsworth and the Disability and Social Care Advice Service (DASCAS) offer general advice and information. Lots of national charities also offer advice and information, including about care services and paying for care. Also visit the Money and Legal area for more information and advice about paying for care and how you can get independent financial advice.

There are organisations that offer general advice and some that offer specialist advice. For example, Deaf people may be interested in advice from Action on Hearing Loss and people with a learning disability will find Mencap useful.
