If your waste is collected in large communal bins and you want to check what day(s) they should be emptied, please email wasteservices@wandsworth.gov.uk.
About street cleaning
Your street should be cleaned on the same day we collect dustbins and recycling sacks. The street should be cleaned within hours of the rubbish being collected to make sure any mess left behind is cleared promptly.
All streets should also get at least one extra litter pick each week.
All main roads in the borough should be cleaned at least once a day and town centres are scheduled to be cleaned between five and twelve times daily.
About orange recycling sack deliveries
If we collect your waste in ordinary dustbins or refuse sacks a roll of 30 orange recycling sacks should be delivered to your doorstep once every three months.
Bank holidays
Bank holidays should not normally result in delays to the waste collection and street cleaning services. If your collection day falls on Christmas Day or New Years Day, your collection will be one day later.
