Plastic films with the "Recycle with carrier bags at larger stores" logo can be recycled at large supermarkets.
Plastic films are used to wrap:
- bakery products
- breakfast cereals
- grocery produce (fresh and frozen)
- multi-packs (shrink wrap)
- newspapers and magazine wrappers
- household goods (e.g. toilet roll, nappies and kitchen roll wrappers)
Do not include metallic, degradable, or dirty plastic films. Paper labels should be removed.
Reduce waste by buying food with minimal packaging.
