Plastic packaging film

Try to avoid using. 

Check where you can recycle plastic packaging film locally.

Plastic films are used to wrap:

  • bakery products
  • breakfast cereals
  • grocery produce (fresh and frozen)
  • multi-packs (shrink wrap)
  • newspapers and magazine wrappers
  • household goods (e.g. toilet roll, nappies and kitchen roll wrappers)

Do not include metallic, degradable, or dirty plastic films. Paper labels should be removed.

Reduce waste by buying food with minimal packaging.
