Councillor Kim Caddy, Cabinet Member for Employment, Skills and Business Development
The Council wants to see all residents share in Wandsworth's economic success which has seen the unemployment rate fall significantly in recent years. With the lowest proportion claiming out of work benefits in inner London, it is clear that our residents are benefiting from more employment opportunities and we're working hard to ensure that all residents share in the benefits of this economic growth. Council services like "Work Match" are going from strength to strength as they work with local communities to help them to compete for jobs in areas like Nine Elms and with local businesses across the borough.
