Description
Demolition of existing non-residential building and multi-use games area and redevelopment of the site to include development of two five-storey buildings providing 57 new Council rent homes and a new community room with associated bicycle parking, residential car parking, refuse storage, plant and outdoor private amenity space. Provision of a new shared street and enhancements to existing public open space (including new and improved children's play space and replacement multi-use games area) and associated landscaping.
News
Bugler continue to make good progress with the structural works of all blocks. The structure of Block B has been completed and the remaining two blocks will have their roofs installed by end of November 2023. Brickwork and steelwork are now in their final stages and these are scheduled to complete by the end of year.
Over the coming weeks Bugler will be focusing on façade stone works and achieving watertightness of the blocks, in order to allow internal works to progress in the new year. The main focus at the moment is to start the waterproofing works and seal the buildings’ envelope. You will be seeing these activities mainly on the roofs. In addition to the above works, window installation will continue to to all floors as well as screeding of flats to allow internal wall construction.
