Balham’s festival of food returns

Call all foodies – get ready to feed for your faces as the week-long Balham Food Festival returns.

The event kicks off  this Sunday (Sep 23) with the Balham Banquet in Hildreth Street and Bedford Hill Place celebrating the area’s vibrant food offering.

Now in its fourth year, this year will include a day of family fun featuring more than 30 stalls a range of local streetfood and alfresco bars, music and children’s activities including a circus skills workshop and cookie decorating. Go along between 11am and 5pm.

The Balham Food Festival continues with a week of activity showcasing Balham’s local food businesses from Monday September 24  to Sunday September 30. There will be promotional deals from local restaurants and venues including Hayman’s Gin, Brickwood Cafe, Fair Price butchers,  The Regent and restaurants including Bodeans, The Indian Room and Lamberts.

The Balham Food Festival is supported by Wandsworth Council and the Balham Partnership, and delivered by Think Events London Ltd.
