The Tooting Folk and Blues Festival is back for a fourth year and will showcase the very best emerging musicians in south London. The event is being funded by the council through the Wandsworth Grant Fund, and sponsored by Sambrokes Brewery, who are providing a bar.

Musicians will include the Rob Booth Band, Gabriel Mesh and The Gas, Whom By Fire, Nunhead Folk Circle, Ese and the Vooduu People, Robin Bibi, Jack Harris, Tommy McCardle, Conrad Vingoe, Jack Harris and Stunflower.

There will be a wide range of street food traders and drink stalls, plus the Pedal Back Café, Canvas Face Painting and more.

Chairman of the grants committee Cllr Melanie Hampton said: “We were delighted to fund the 2018 Tooting Folk and Blues Festival.  Every year it provides a fantastic free day of music and fun that brings the whole community together.”

The event is on Saturday August 4 from midday until 7pm.

The deadline to apply for the next round of Wandsworth grant Fund funding is August 20. Find out more at
