Explore Nine Elms at the Winter Trails festival

Published: Friday 3rd November 17

There has never been a better time to explore London’s newest neighbourhood with a series of winter festival events and activities at Nine Elms

The Cirque Bijou Umbrella Project 1

The Winter Trails series of events starts on November 18 and embraces the festive season with performances, walks, workshops, illuminated installations and film screenings in an area stretching from St George’s Tower in Vauxhall to Battersea Power Station.

Activities and events include a street market, a twilight performance with dancers and skaters, songs from Battersea Power Station Community Choir, improvised music sessions and artistic workshops for children.

To help people navigate the programme, a map of the area is layered with the different strands of the festival – movement, sound, words & stories, film, illumination & installations.

All activities are free to attend, but in some cases advance booking may be required. Events can be pre-booked via the website. All children under 16 must be accompanied at all times.

More information about all the events listed in the Winter Trails guide can be found at www.nineelmslondon.com/wintertrails.
