Free cancer awareness roadshow visits Earlsfield tomorrow

A nationwide company based in Earlsfield is tomorrow (Thursday) offering local residents a chance to finds out more about preventing cancer and staying healthy.

Banham Security is hosting a cancer awareness roadshow at its headquarters in Thornsett Road between 10am and 4pm.

Run by leading national charity Cancer Reaserch UK, the roadshow will offer residents free nurse-led consultations on cancer prevention, early diagnosis and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  People will also be able to have their BMI measured to help support their efforts in embracing healthy living.

The nurses will be able to give advice on positive steps to reduce the risk of cancer, answer questions about screening, and talk about the importance of seeing the GP promptly with any health concerns. The Cancer Research UK team can also put people in touch with other health services in the area.

To reserve a time slot tomorrow (October 12) between 10am and 4pm please email stating the time you would like to attend.
