Artists’ Open House this weekend

Published: Wednesday 4th October 17

Nearly 150 artists across the borough will be opening up their homes and studios this weekend as part of the Artists’ Open House event.

This weekends (October 7-8) and next weekend (Oct 14-15)  you can meet artists in a relaxed and informal setting. Every venue is free to visit and there is no pressure to buy, but if you wish you will be able to buy artwork without paying gallery prices.

Pick up a local trial guide or create your own discovery trail of Open Houses to visit at wandsworthart.com. Base your trail on a particular postcode or by the kind of art your interested in there is a wide range of work on offer, including painting, textiles, sculpture, cards, bags and jewellery.

See the full list of Open Houses at www.wandsworthart.com. Printed guides with a map of all participating venues will be available from your local library, and at various venues and organisations throughout the borough.

You can also get one from the Enable Arts Team by calling (020) 8871 8711, emailing arts@wandsworth.gov.uk or writing to Staff Yard, Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ.

Wandsworth Artists’ Open House is coordinated by Enable Arts Team, part of Enable Leisure and Culture, on behalf of Wandsworth Council. The event is run in conjunction with steering committee of local artists.
