Be a better biker

Published: Wednesday 5th April 17

The council has again teamed up with the Met Police and Transport for London to offer Wandsworth’s bikers free places on a BikeSafe Skills Day

Training will be delivered by professional police motorcyclists. You will learn how to become a better, safer and more confident rider and will get tailored feedback and advice. Courses are suitable for riders of all levels.

There are 150 free places on offer for Wandsworth residents on one of the day-long courses. The usual cost is £45.

If you would like to go, call (020) 8871 6677 or email roadsafetyoffice@wandsworth.gov.uk.

I hope that it will include rules about not travelling over footpaths! Perhaps the Council could encourage pizza delivery riders to enrol, since they seem to have the most disregard for the Highway Code.
