The event, now in its third year, offers young people, their parents and carers the chance to find out about choices after school or college, local training opportunities and employment, as well as local support groups and services available in the borough.
Stands, workshops and presentations demonstrated various routes into education, employment or training and virtual reality company 3D Novations held a ConnectUP workshop to allow young people to experience a virtual office environment.
The event was organised jointly by the council and South Thames College, with support from the Wandsworth Ambitions Careers Cluster.
Exhibitors included Act Two, Baked Bean Theatre Company, Beyond Autism, Care Trade UK, Carney’s Community, Carshalton College, Certitude, Department for Work and Pensions, HAIL, HOA2, Kingston College, Lambeth College, Let Me Play Ltd, Live Too Limited, Morden Hall Park, Orchard Hill College, Prince’s Trust, Project Search, Resurgo-Spear, Roots & Shoots, Seetec, Share Community, South Thames College, Transport for London, WIASS, Work Match and BASE.
