Loans to help Wandsworth businesses grow

Published: Tuesday 29th November 16

Businesses in the borough which are struggling to secure funding from more traditional sources can apply now to receive a loan of up to £50,000, funded by Wandsworth Council and start up loans company Newable.

The Wandsworth Business Loan Fund is a financing option for local businesses with viable growth plans, even if they have been turned down by mainstream lenders.

The fund is managed by Newable on behalf of the council and offers the borough’s small and medium-sized (SMEs) businesses a chance to acquire the funding they need to fulfil their ambitions.

Wandsworth Council business spokesperson Kim Caddy said: “Sometimes when you’re a small or medium-sized business it can be difficult to access the funds you need to push your organisation forward.

“Wandsworth is a business friendly council and we want to support local businesses to reach their full potential, even if they’ve been turned away by the bank.

“If you’re a local business in need of funding, check your eligibility for a Wandsworth Business Loan today.”

To find out if your company is eligible and to apply call Newable on 0845 603 2820, email businessloans@newable.co.uk.
