Get advice on future choices after school or college at the free Get Set Go event for young people with special educational needs.

Young people aged 14-25 plus their parents, carers and professionals working with them can go along to the event organised by the council and South Thames College.

People can go alone or with carers, and local schools are invited to take groups of children along. Local businesses interested in hiring people with special needs are also welcome to take part.

There will be information stands and workshops on job and training opportunities, alternatives to education, support groups and more. Attendees can go along for the whole morning, or just part of it.

Exhibitors include the Baked Bean Theatre Company, Workshop 305, Hao2, BASE, South Thames College, Aurora Centre, Orchard Hill College, WAND+, WorkRight, Connexions, Share Community, Project Search and Carshalton College.

Business spokesman Cllr Kim Caddy said: “We want all of our young people to make the most of the job and training opportunities on offer in the borough. I would urge the young members of our community with special educational needs to take advantage of this free event.”

Wow! This blog looks just like my old one! It's on a totally different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!

Hi would you mind stating which blog platform you're using? I'm looking to start my own blog soon but I'm having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
