Balham gets festive

Balham gets into the festive spirit on Sunday (November 30) with its Christmas celebrations in Hildreth Street. For the first year ever, Hildreth Street will get its own 15ft tree.

 

The programme is as follows:

  • 1pm onwards: Hildreth Street Businesses In-Store Events & Activities
  • 2pm–3pm: Wandering Father Christmas and his Elves (Featuring The Southside Players & Stagecoach Battersea Theatre)
  • 3pm onwards: Mulled wine and music from the Balham Ukulele Orchestra
  • 3.30pm onwards: Carols and community singing
  • 4.30pm: Lights switch-on by the Mayor of Wandsworth
  • 4.45-5pm: Event Finishes

There will be a chance to start your Christmas shopping, with offers from local businesses.

The event is organised by the council and the Balham Partnership with sponsorship from The Bedford, Harrison’s, Samuel Estate Agents and Essential Local.
