Shakespeare comes to Tooting

The Tooting Arts Club has unveiled its production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream after becoming one of the latest groups to benefit from the council’s cultural fund.

The production of Shakespeare's popular play had its opening night last week and runs until September 7 at Broadway Studios, in Tooting High Street.

Doors open at 7.45pm and tickets, which cost £14 full price or £9 concessions, can be booked by calling 08456 801926.

It is staging the play following a successful application to Wandsworth Council's Cultural Wealth Fund.

I confess an interest as I am the Tooting Town Centre Manager, but I urge Tooting residents and those from further afield to go and see this fabulous production.
