Last chance to keep vote

Voter registration has now ended, but the council is giving householders a final chance to return their form and avoid losing their vote.

VotingIt's a legal requirement to complete and return the form, and you will not be able to vote in local, European and national elections unless you do so.

Town hall electoral services staff started delivering forms in August. Most households yet to return it should have received two home visits by now.

The complete up-to-date voters list will be published on December 3, and the town hall is putting out a final call for the forms before the list is finalised shortly.

To return your form.  

  • Fill it in online
  • Complete it by freephone on 0800 197 7682
  • Text the 14 digit number on your form to 80212

The above options are only available to households whose details have not changed since last year's canvass. If your details have changed, use one of the following methods 

  • Send it by post using the prepaid envelope provided
  • Drop it into the town hall
