There are plenty of ways to keep the kids entertained over the long summer break.

A range of activities for children and young people are being held this summer.
You can book now for a place on the council's Summer Fun scheme held at venues across the borough from July 23-August 31.
The activities are for children aged 3-13 years and sessions are supervised by qualified and experienced staff. Activities include multisport, watersports, dance, swimming, cycling skills, football, athletics, tennis, non-contact boxing and a glee club.

In addition, children can enjoy free Outdoor Summer Fun run by qualified and experienced play workers. The scheme is jointly funded by the council and NHS Wandsworth.
Children over eight can enjoy activities including sports and games, skipping, circuits, hula hoops and free play in three parks across the borough.
You can just turn up. Playworkers will be available between August 6 and August 24, Monday to Friday, 10.30am -12.30pm at:
- York Gardens , Lavender Road , Battersea , SW11 2UG
- Furzedown Rec, Ramsdale Road , Tooting, SW17 9BP
- Bull Green, Danebury Avenue , Roehampton , SW15 4DU

Activities and courses are also being held in the borough's youth clubs for young people aged 11-19, or up to 25 years old for young people with disabilities. For more details visit the Family Information Service website.

- use the IT suite and music studio
- learn digital photography
- play sports such as football and basketball
- get involved in dance and drama activities
- take part in art and craft workshops and
- learn life skills, including cooking.
