Food and live music in Balham this Sunday

Lovers of fine food and live music are invited to Balham town centre this weekend for the official launch of the Sunday Fresh Food Market on Hildreth Street.

The newly established market will be open on the first Sunday of every month following three successful trial runs over the summer.

To help celebrate their arrival The Bedford is presenting 2 hours of acoustic music from 12.30pm until 2.30pm with live sets from Tony Moore, Ilona, Joe Corbin plus special guests.

The market will be open from 11am to 5pm with a mouth-watering range of high quality products on display. Residents are invited to come and taste the fresh goods, meet the producers and find out how the food is made and where it comes from.  

There will be over 20 stall including:

  • Fresh vegetables and tomatoes from Wild Country Organics
  • Freshly squeezed apple juice from Ash Green Organics (new)
  • Spanish churros with chocolate from Churros Garcia (new) 
  • Fresh Monmouth coffee from Bean & Gone
  • Rare breed meats and tasty burgers from Garlic Wood Farm
  • Delicious cupcakes from Kaths Cakes

The confirmed upcoming dates for the Sunday Fresh Food Market are:

  • October 2
  • November 6
  • December 4
  • December 18 (special Christmas Market)
  • January 8
  • February 5
  • March 4
