Witness appeal following Tooting attack

Detectives in Wandsworth are appealing for help in identifying a man following a stabbing in Tooting.

ScreenShot014Police have released an image of a male they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The stabbing took place on Derinton Road , Tooting at approximately 7.45pm on Friday 5 August.

The victim, a 28-year-old male, was taken to hospital with a stab wound to the chest and remains there in a critical condition. It is believed he was stabbed following an altercation in the street.
