Deputy Mayor of Wandsworth Cllr Jenny Nickels said the event was a terrific success:

"The atmosphere was buzzing and the performers were superb. Residents of all ages packed into the street and a great time was had by all. The organisers have done an outstanding job putting this all together.

"It's a real boost for local businesses and I'm sure plenty of people will be coming back soon to see what else the town centre has to offer."

Evolve Magazine put on a dazzling fashion show and local businesses lined the street with stalls selling all sorts of festival treats. There was also free face painting courtesy of McDonalds.

The festival was sponsored by the Balham Partnership, Wandsworth Council, Hot Bikram Yoga, Evolve, Harrison's, Waitrose, Essential Local, Newridge, The Bedford and Robbies Photographics.
