Have your say about crime
People can quiz police and council bosses about crime and public safety in the borough at a public meeting on February 17.
The Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) is holding its annual Face the Public meeting at the Battersea Arts Centre.
Cllr James Cousins, the council’s cabinet member for Regeneration and Community Safety, will give a presentation on an assessment of crime and disorder carried out by the council and the police in November and December last year.
He will also outline what the CDRPs priorities are likely to be for the next three years.
The meeting will be chaired by London Assembly member Richard Tracey and there will be a panel including the council’s chief executive, the borough commanders of both the police and the fire brigade and senior representatives from NHS Wandsworth and the Probation Service.
The CDRP is made up of Wandsworth Council, Wandsworth police and other partners. It publishes a Partnership Plan based on a comprehensive assessment of crime and disorder and public feedback.
If you would like to go to the Face the Public meeting, email Andrew Jolly at Community Safety in advance at ajolly@wandsworth.gov.uk.
