Neighbourhood Watch

Introduction

The partnership between council, the Metropolitan Police and other agencies has produced some exceptional results with crime in the Borough falling consistently.

Now Wandsworth residents enjoy the lowest risk of crime in inner London. You can help build on this success by starting or joining a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme where you live. Neighbourhood Watch is about working together in partnership for a safer and more caring community.

You can find out more about Neighbourhood Watch in this section or by downloading the introductory leaflet and co-ordinators guide from the Related Downloads area.

Neighbourhood watch coverage in Wandsworth

You may already be covered by an existing Watch. This not only may improve the premium on your home contents insurance but will also give you access to all sorts of useful crime prevention and home safety advice and resources through the Neighbourhood Watch scheme. The map below shows where existing Watches are. Alternatively you can view the roads covered as a list. Please note that a Watch does not necessarily cover the whole road.

If you have found your road and wish to check to see if you are in the Watch, and/or want to be put in touch with your local Co-ordinator, please contact us on 020 8871 8919 or email rguyatt@wandsworth.gov.uk. You should also get in touch with us if you have failed to find your road and are interested in becoming a Co-ordinator or helping to launch a new Watch.
