Travellers Site Consultation Closed
As part of consultation on the Site Specific Allocations Document (SSAD), the Council sought views on a potential gypsy and traveller site at Trewint Street, SW18.
The Council is required by the Government to provide sufficient spaces for travellers and gypsies in the borough. Following a London-wide survey Wandsworth has been told to provide up to ten more pitches. This study is part of the council's review of its local planning strategies (the Local Development Framework).
Following a review of the results of the consultation, an updated version of the plan will be produced, with a further round of public consultation due to take place in the Autumn of 2010. You can view the Site Specific Allocations Document at:
