Non-Europeans married to European Citizens - Family members of EEA Nationals Checklist
Both the non-European person applying and their European spouse/family member must have lived in the UK for at least 6 years.

Application form
- Life in the UK test/ESOL and certificate
- Passports to cover the last 6 years - must have been resident for 6 years
- EEA Family member stamp in the passport - will say that applicant is allowed to stay in the UK as long as their European spouse is living here exercising a treaty right
- Marriage certificate to prove they have been married for 6 YEARS (if married couple)
- Birth certificate of applicant (if applying as the son/daughter of an EEA national).
