Trees and planted areas
Our services
Trees are valuable in many ways both for biodiversity and adding to the pleasantness of the borough and many are protected and managed by the council.
Our Tree Section manages street trees and trees on public open space or council owned land. They are specialists in arboriculture and undertake the day-to-day management of trees. We are only responsible for maintaining trees on council-owned land or for which we have legal responsibility.
