The council has revised its ten-point plan for improving Clapham Junction, and has identified ten priorities which could transform Clapham Junction as a major transport interchange.
Complete the East London Line extension to Clapham Junction - Connect Clapham Junction to the Underground
- A new station entrance to St John's Hill via Brighton Yard
- Improve the station environment and facilities
- Provide new rail services to Heathrow and Gatwick Airports
- Improve the routes between the town centre and the station
- Improve interchange between rail, bus services, taxis and cycling
- Increase the capacity of the station
- Improve train frequencies
- Improve public transport information and convenience of ticketing
